Scoop out the flesh, leaving a rim of approx. 1 cm. Roughly chop the apple flesh and set aside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Place the apples in the prepared casserole dish. Combine the minced meat with all the ingredients in a bowl and knead well by hand until the mixture comes together. With wet hands, form 8 equal-sized balls. Fill the apples with the mixture and wrap each apple with bacon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cranberry-apple sauce<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pur\u00e9e the apple flesh with the cranberries. Add the thyme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Baking<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Place the casserole dish in the centre of an oven preheated to 220 \u00b0C and bake for approx. 15 minutes.
