Herbert Bachmann, the chef.
Herbert Bachmann lives with his family in Cornaiano/Appiano on the Strada del Vino (BZ). Following his apprenticeship at the Hotel Piccolo/Marlingerhof, Bachmann worked in various well-known establishments in the South Tyrol (Bolzano) as well as abroad, and also with Andreas Hellrigl in New York. Since 1997 Bachmann is the head chef at the Hotel-Ristorante Seegarten on Lake Caldaro (Bolzano). He has been publishing his “main courses” in the Dolomiten Magazin, a local publication for many years, and organising courses in order to pass on his secrets.
