KIKU®-Pool Europe members picked in October due to very nice coloration and optimal taste of KIKU®-apples, 7.500 tons totally in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Greece and Italy - one KIKU® beside the other is the distance Bolzano to Spanish Madrid and back! Sales already started, as KIKU® has best eating quality already from the tree, and develops the exotic taste from the beginning.
The traditional retailers already adhered to sales programs, which are accompanied by several marketing activities especially at point of sale. Consumer are informed about the quality and way to enjoy KIKU®s during tastings with specialized persons, or they can win special prices developed for the current winter season.

In the next years the distance „Bolzano-Madrid and back" shall be doubled, the consumer more and more sensitized, and new markets developed. In some weeks also fresh US-KIKU®s will be available, and in the next years South African and New Zealand Partner will join.

Worldwide activities are supported by unusual sponsoring like the „Snowleopard", the Ghanese skier Kwame who will partecipate at World Championship in France in February 2009 and Olympics in Vancouver 2010.
